Just south of Worland is Thermopolis, home of the self-proclaimed 'World's Largest Mineral Hot Spring'. They have some cool mineral formations which were a little dry during our visit, and we went swimming at one of the pools there. The water turned my silver earrings black. I hope there is some sort of skin-refining benefit to swimming there. We enjoyed watersliding, hot-tubbing, and slimy sauna-ing. It was fun to spend time with my brother's little family.

Thermopolis, WY
While we were in Wyoming we decided to drive over to Worland to visit Joel and Dani and their girls. It's not far from Pinedale as the crow flies, but driving around the Windriver mountains make the trip about 4 1/2 hours long. I think people from Wyoming have to accept pretty early on that they will have to do a lot of driving. It's a good thing gas is generally cheaper there.
