Easter

Millie woke up to a fun Easter basket full of her favorite things, including chapstick, Dora, and bubbles. Her favorite thing of all was the Easter grass, which was promptly thrown away that night after being scattered around the house all day. We look forward to holidays in the future when she understands a little better what is going on. We got a couple of pictures before church and before the bow came out of her hair for good.

That evening we went to my Grandma's house for dinner with all of the family. I really should get a picture of all these people. It has been fun to spend time with them and get to know them after about 15 years. I love getting together for holidays and Millie loves the attention. She is starting to get pretty comfortable with these people and loves to make them laugh. She and Colton got to have an Easter egg hunt all to themselves. It's a good thing she had some practice earlier this week at her first Easter egg hunt with her playgroup from church. It will be nice to teach her more about the real meaning of Easter someday down the road, but for now it's nice to share in her innocent, childhood joy as she experiences these things for the first time. We are indeed grateful for our Savior and the knowledge we have that He still lives, and that we will live again because of Him.
