We are really enjoying the approaching fall. Nice cool nights, lots of rainy days, leaves just starting to change. . . yes, we've missed this season. It feels so wonderful to spend time outside, and we're doing our best to make it happen as much as possible, even though actually getting out of the house is one of the most unpleasant tasks of parenthood.
It helps when you have cousins who love to go on trips, too. We spent the day at the historic Wheeler Farm in Salt Lake on Thursday. The kids loved seeing all of the animals, feeding the ducks, ALMOST petting a few goats and cows, "riding" on the tractor, and especially taking a ride on a wagon pulled by a tractor. It's also nice to have a new phone with a relatively decent camera to take pictures with. They may not be the best quality, but it's totally making up in the quantity department.
Also, it's fun to make these collages so I don't have to bombard you with pictures or else leave out some of our memories from the day.
Millie asked me several times that day if we would go back to the farm another day. I guess we'll have to make this a regular visit a few times each fall!
