I didn't quite have time to finish feeding her before we left, so I went to the mother's lounge as soon as we got to church so I could finish the job. That's where everything went downhill. After she was done eating, I realized that my sweet little baby had her first blowout in her first 1/2 hour of church. And it was all over me. Fortunately, I had on enough layers that I could remove the befouled layer and leave behind no lingering signs of what had happened. Next as I was frantically trying to clean the mess, she managed to pee everywhere before I could get a new diaper on her. We've never experienced either of these problems, so I find it incredibly humorous that they both happened at church.
Fortunately, the rest of the day went fairly smoothly, and Camilla even slept through most of the day. We're learning some tricks to help her sleep better, and rocking her car seat did the trick today. Last night, I gave in and put her in her Nochi sleeper because I thought it seemed pretty cold in our room. She seemed to love it, and slept for a really good chunk of time. And she looks so peaceful in it. :)

She looks so sweet and peaceful asleep in her cozy bed! I love it!
Sounds like you were well initiated into the chaos that can come at church! Our first Sunday Savannah puked all over Skyler and her special dress just before we walked out the door. Isn't it wonderful to have your baby girl at church and just feel like a family?
Hope you are doing great!
I forgot to bring extra clothes when we took Esther for her 2 hr eye doctor appt. half an hr away. of course the baby covered everything she was wearing within 10 min., and spent half the day in a diaper and blanket, and Esther announced it to everyone who would listen... babies like to make us look bad. oh well.
Glad you can see the bright side. Kids make messes but they are so much fun! She does seem to like the sleeper.
