First of all, thanks for all of the advice everybody! We still haven't really 'fixed' the problem, but I have some good things to think about and I'm trying to be a little more patient. I'm 98% sure that Camilla is working on some teeth right now which has brought a handful of unfortunate side effects, so I'm happy to let her cuddle up to me at night for now. . . on her bedroom floor.
Meanwhile, Camilla has learned a couple of new tricks this week. First of all, she finally started crawling on her knees. She was so good at the army crawl that I thought she didn't feel the need to learn anything else. She apparently figured out that there is an advantage to not dragging the bottom half of her body around.
Also, this morning she got ahold of the nearly empty bottle of infant ibuprofen that I've been giving her for teething. She was happy, so I was happy to close my eyes and pretend to myself that I was getting more sleep. I peeked out at her to realize she had managed to get the child-proof lid off, and had either spilled the rest of the medicine or chugged it. (It was less than a full dose, so not a huge problem.) I screwed the lid back on tightly and gathered up our blankets to wash the stickiness off, only to see she was following me with the bottle in her mouth, lid-free. I guess the child-proofing is only good until about 10 months.

Oh Camilla is learning quite the tricks to keep you on your toes. Hope that the teething will be swift.
